Adorable – Peacock Themed Engagement

A peacock is a bird so beautiful and as Indians, this bird has always held a special place in our hearts. We often hear that the magnificent peacock symbolizes kindness and patience in Hinduism, purity and love in Buddhism and royalty in Persia. And a peacock dancing with its feather wide open in a downpour is a sight worth a million words.

Wouldn’t it be an awesome feeling to associate with a bird that gives references to so many beautiful things? Gowri and Naveen choose the right theme for their engagement and they couldn’t be happier with their choice.

“It symbolizes him, our love and everything good and pure that comes with the union of two souls” said Gowri.

All the little details of this engagement revolved around the theme. Gowri and Naveen dressed up within the peacock palette. It was all in hues of blue and green. Gowri looked stunning in the orange-green cancan saree that she wore pre engagement and then changed into a beautiful blue silk saree. Naveen wore a peacock blue sherwani that truly complemented Gowri’s saree look.

We’re in awe with the stage and gift décor, all of it has a hint of beautiful peacock feathers adding life to the theme. And we cannot fail to mention, the mesmerizing eye makeup done with absolute perfection. But what was icing on the cake was that all the bridesmaids who wore simple sarees with peacock embroidery straight from the peacock palette. The exclusive work to keep the attires inspired to the theme was done by Tamaara Boutique by TRB. Both the families rocked the event by dressing in blue too. They didn’t need anything else to make every moment just picture perfect.
