Anusha & Shankar, the lovely couple who is now settled in California tied their knots in a place close to their roots. Their wedding was a rather traditional affair, but they didn’t miss on the fun!
Anusha wore her dream Sabyasachi lehenga for her mehendi ceremony. The pop pink lehenga with some dreamy curls and a subtle makeup so beautifully transformed and fell into place from an evening mehendi look to a glam sangeet look. Shankar went full contrast to his bride and wore a navy blue dhoti kurta set. Mehendi that transitions into sangeet seems like a blissful way to have some fun, without going overboard with the budget.
They had two distinct décor, the yellow mandap mehendi décor and a LED screen backdrop for the sangeet. While the mehendi had more of an outdoor rustic touch, the LED screen added a lot of glam to the sangeet night.
Their big fat Indian wedding followed all the Brahmin rites and rituals. Anusha totally got the maami swag in her yellow madisar for her wedding. The puff sleeved blouse gave such a retro touch and a mélange of temple and kemp jewellery added an interesting edge.
The next change was into a deep red saree with a deep purple border for her oonjal ceremony. The intricate blouse details of this elegant blouse gleamed so well. The brother’s squad twinned in a purple kurta with sister dearest! It’s always adorable to see the siblings’ twin!
Next in line was the pochampally touch, so elegant and effortlessly making heads turn. There’s something about handloom sarees, they always leave a mark. This wedding was intimate, and filled with love and memories. The teams of Zero Gravity Photography and Vivek Krishnan Photography clicked captivating frames from their big day that will be cherished forever.
