The Mahabalipuram Shore temple is a favourite location for couples and photographers alike. It is a magnificent rock-cut elegance overlooking the sea and surrounded by gardens and ruined courts. The age old structure constructed by the Pallava dynasty has been corroded by the consistent action of the sea waves, but that’s precisely what gives it a rich appeal.
Yet another artistic couple decided to have their post-wedding shoot here only to find out that they will be the last ones to do so! Apparently, no more professional shoots will be possible at the Shore temple. How lucky for them and how unfortunate for the rest of us who will not get to have moments frozen as photographs against this exquisite, picturesque and serene landscape!
Here are some beautiful shots from the shoot by Mystic Studios:
The bride, Harinandhini, wore a bright no-zari green and pink silk saree with matching mirror work blouse. She adorned herself in an antique gold temple necklace and heavy jhumkas and opted for a simple and chic bun for hairdo. She looks absolutely dazzling like a modern goddess against the rustic temple backdrop. Makeup was done by Noor Mohammad.
The groom wore an all-black ensemble and looks handsome in a tux, perfectly complementing his lady.
Let’s hope they revoke the ban and continue to let us capture beautiful moments.
